Beast on Beast

Using a transducer, the large metal sign pictured below is
converted into a speaker. Passersby are spoken to
through the sign. Using a variety of voices from within
the CalArts community, a dialogue emerges from the
new performance space,“The Wild Beast”.

Engaged in the dialogue are two distinct voices:
those of students and faculty and the Wild Beast
itself converted into sound object.
